Weathermaster supplies and installs historic window systems from many materials including steel, aluminum, wood, clad covered wood, and other “new” composite materials. We partner with many manufacturers who provide an endless number of extruded decorative trim and panning profiles. This endless selection of trim, along with our capability to produce custom extruded trim, allows us the ability to mimic the profile style from any period.
Our qualifications and installation experience allows us to install multi-story, high-rise projects as well as first floor projects. We supply historic windows with LC, HC, CW, and AW ratings. Our custom historic windows are not only accurate in historic detail but, they are able to meet the criteria for energy, structural engineering, impact, and code compliance.
Our historic windows can be manufactured to specifically meet R-Values, U-Factors, STC, SHGC, SC, DP, AIT test values, WTP values, High security, ballistic ratings and much more. We also procure a range of custom historic windows that are able to meet the qualifications for inland impact zone 1 and are compliant with WPI-8 of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association and the Texas Department of Insurance for hurricane impact.
